“Monochrome tiles” is the crowning of many years of research and attempts for Luciano Tileworks, through careful mixing and testing of hundreds of pigments and colours to create exceptional compositions of glassy enamels.
The vast chromatic range has been developed since 1955 with “Creazioni Luciano”, family business passed down through generations in which Roberto Tastardi is artistic director.
The result of this work is a chromatic selection of lithium glassy enamels “Craquelé”, considered by experts of superior quality to the regular lead crystallines and able to cover any ceramic piece with splendid texture resembling broken glass.
Two finishing touches that characterise niche selections in this style are:
– “White Matt”, with a slight ivory shade, satin reflection and used in combination with lucid crystallines, draws warm, soft, delicate lines that lighten vivid tints.
– “Iron” enamel, metallic colour, used for strong and straightforward compositions, elegant with a modern touch
The “glazed” compositions come in different sizes and formats, are smooth with regular edges and are produced with white clay which enhances the vividness of the transparent colours and subjected to the two classic firings of the artistic ceramic.
